A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A DONATION FROM THE MOOSE LODGE #167 LOOM
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting
donations for a specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such property for the intended purpose; and
WHEREAS, Moose Lodge # 167 LOOM wishes to make a donation to the City of Richmond.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the following donation from The Moose Lodge 4167 LOOM shall be accepted and
gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
Donation of 6 computers and 6 monitors to be used for the Richmond Fire Department.
Passed and adopted this _41h _ day of February, 2008, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
