AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within
the fund appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart
out of the several appropriations herein named and for the purposes
herein specified, subject to the laws governing ,the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which
appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing approp-
riations be reduced in -.the following amounts:

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the
State of Indiana.

REFERENCE: ORDINANACE NO. 99-1984 — FIRE DEPT. TRANSFER
This ordinance transfers savings in payroll to instructions to cover additional
training costs anticipated in the last four months of 1984.
The remainder of the payroll savings — $18,000.00 (thru 7/31) were cut out of the
1984 budget by reduction ordinance during the budget process.

EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regul r s ion in the

The following business was had, to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Public Law 54 and
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of
, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations
as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond,
Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and
found to be correct and in order. Councilman moved the proof
of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded
by Councilman , and on voice vote the motion was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 99-1984
President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 99-1984 was on public hearing.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 99-1984 was placed on
final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded:

Absent: none
The vote being to in favor of passage of Ordinance No. -984
