AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within
the fund appropriated in the annual budget:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropri ted and ordered set apart
out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes
herein named and for the pruposes herein specified, subject to the laws
governing the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropiations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which
appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing
appropriations be reduced in the following amounts.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the

EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the
Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City September 4, 1984
at the hour of 7:30 P.M., '
Councilman Elstro presided with the following members present:
Messrs Williams Brookbank Hankinson Whitesell

The following business was had, to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Public Law 54 and
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of
, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations
as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond,
Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and
found to be correct and in order. Councilman moved the proof
of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded
by Councilman , and on voice vote the motion was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 104-1984
President Elstro announced Ordinance No. 104-1984 was on public hearing.

Per our memo of August 20, 1984 to Marge Sweet, Controllers Office,
this office has requested that $250.00 be transferred from our
Legal Services fund to our office supplies fund. This money is being used to
purchase a quantity of items from Rosas during their limited time
Inventory Clearance Sale. These items should run us into the first
of the new year.
