AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND - CLERK'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within
the fund appropriated in the annual budget:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart
out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes
herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. W[TREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which
appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing
appropriations be reduced in the following amounts:

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the

Mr. Jack Elstro and Members of Council
The Clerk's Office is requesting that funds be transferred from the Unemployment
Compensation Account since payments are no longer being made from this account
into the Supply account, Other Services and Charges and Capital Outlays.
The funds will be used to purchase computer supplies and to pay for printing for
the Council for the remainder of the year since the printing and supply budget
for both the Clerk and Council currently have no funds available.
Funds will also be put into the postage and telephone accounts under Other Services
and Charges. This will assist in paying for the telephone for Information and
Referral and postage for much certified mail coming through the Clerk's Office.
Funds will also be put into the equipment account to assist in accessories for
the computer and also an adding machine for the Clerk's Office.
