AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE POLICE
RESERVES FOR THE CITY OF RICHMOND AND
FIXING ITS NUMBER
WHEREAS, in Ordinance No. 3167-1976 the Common Council fixed the
number of police reserves at thirty (30) pursuant to former
Indiana Code, I.C. 1 9-1-17.5-1;
WHEREAS, police reserves are now authorized pursuant to Indiana Code.
T.C. 36-8-3-20;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of Richmond that Ordinance No. 3167-1976 be amended in
its entirety as follows and that it be designated as Section
31.53 of Chapter 31 of the Richmond Municipal Code:
SECTION 31.53. There is hereby established the police
reserves of the City of Rchmond, pursuant to Indiana Code, T.C.
36-8-3-20, and the number of reserve police personnel is
hereby fixed at the number of thirty (30).
