Home My Public Portal About124-1984 - ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE AIRPORT FUNDAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 124— 1984 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE AIRPORT FUND WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION i. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT REQUESTED AIRPORT FUND 3000 —Other Services & Charges $ 5,000.00 2000 — Supplies 35,000.00 Total $40,000.00 AMOUNT APPROPRIATED $ 5,000.00 35,000.00 $40,000.00 SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the fund herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same. CASH OPERATING AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED $ 40,000.00 $ 40,000.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. Councilperson Elstro presided with the following members present: Brookbank Parkinson , Councilpersons Williams Morris Bodiker , Lemoine > Absent: Whitese ' The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication.of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana on the date of October 26, 1984 Said notice stated that a public 19 84 , , by the hearing would be held on the 5th day of November — Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. 124-1984 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson Parker moved the. proof of publication be received anf fined, seconded by Councilperson Hankinson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
