i. The Board will consider approving executive session minutes:
3/15/16, 04/04/16, 04/05/16, 04/26/16, 05/02/16ATM, 05/17/16
ii. CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, LITIGATION AND REAL PROPERTY
1.To discuss strategies with respect to collective bargaining updates by the
Town Manage relative to Fire and Dispatch,because an open meeting may
have detrimental effects on the bargaining positions of the Board;
2.To discuss strategy with respect to litigation relative to 78 West Main Street,
because an open meeting may have detrimental effects on the litigating
positions of the Board.
3.To discuss strategy relative to contract negotiations with nonunion staff,
Town Manager.

The Board of Selectmen will consider a One Day (malt beverages only) Liquor License
from Craig Twohey of King Philip Restaurant & Motel Inc., d/b/a King Philip Catering of
Phillipston, MA for a G.O.A.L. (Gun Owner Action League) Cookout and Meeting to be

held at the Hopkinton Sportsman’s Association, 95 Lumber Street, Hopkinton on
Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 19 p.m.

The Board of Selectmen will consider the following parade permits:

iv. MARATHON FUND REQUESTS
The Board of Selectmen will consider accepting the following Marathon Fund
Requests:
1. $1,000 to Hopkinton Babe Ruth for the purpose of purchasing uniform jerseys
for (22) players that will be reused season to season;
2.$1,000 to the Hopkinton Patrolman’s Association for the purpose of (repaying)
reimbursement to the association for the pond stocking of the fish for the
Youth Fishing Derby held Saturday, May 14, 2016.

v. HILLER’S PIZZA COMMON VICTUALLER LICENSE
The Board of Selectmen will consider a Common Victualler License
for Petros Sismanis of Hiller’s Pizza, 77 West Main Street, Hopkinton, MA. (former

The Board of Selectmen will approve and sign a $200,000 Bond Anticipation Note.

7:15 PM PUBLIC HEARINGS: MARY C. O’BRIEN PRATT TRAIL; WELZEL TRAIL (ACTION)
4.The Board of Selectmen will hold public hearings on the request to name the
following trails:
1)Mary C. O’Brien Pratt Trail, Northern Section, on the Town’s Fruit Street
property;
2)Welzel Trail, a trail loop off the Center Trail.

6.The Board of Selectmen will consider appointing one member from the
Board of Selectmen to the Elementary School Building Committee.

7.The Board of Selectmen will consider a One Day (All Alcoholic Beverages) Liquor
License
from Keri Paradis of 10A Church Street, Hopkinton, to be held at St. John the
Evangelist Church, 20 Church Street, Hopkinton, on Saturday, June 25, 2016, from
5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

8:00 PM FISCAL YEAR 2017 WATER AND SEWER RATES PUBLIC HEARING (ACTION)
8.Pursuant to the Special Act establishing the Department of Public Works in Hopkinton,
the Board of Selectmen will set the Water and Sewer Rates for Fiscal Year 2017,
effective July 1, 2016.
