HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 7/16/2007 The Wellsburg City Council met in special session July 16, 2007 with Mayor Fox presiding and Council Members James, Lindaman, Nielsen and Van Heiden present. Absent, Van Hauen.
At 7:10 p.m. the Mayor declared this was the time and place for a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications for the William P. Riekena Subdivision. Being there we no
written or oral objections the Mayor declared the public hearing closed.
Brent Port, Clapsaddle-Garber Associates, gave a presentation on the plans and specs for the subdivision. Motion by James second by Van Heiden to approve plans and specs. All ayes,
carried.
Tracey Auchenbach presented information on Housing Urban Renewal Plans. Motion by Lindaman second by James to set up a Housing Urban Renewal Plan for the Riekena Subdivision. All
ayes, carried.
Lindsey Beving, Wellsburg Insurance, presented information regarding the addition of umbrella and linebacker coverage to the City insurance policy. A decision will be made at the August
6th regular meeting.
Motion to adjourn Nielsen second James. All ayes, carried.
