AN ORDINANCE AMEMINC SPECIAL USE ORDINANCE NO, 2503-1970, MICH AUTHORIZED
A MEDICAL OFFICE BUTLDTNG AT 2519 EAST MAIN STREET MC,A= IN AN R-3 ONE -TO -
EIGHT FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMB TNG THE SPECIAL
USE TRAFFIC CIRCULATION PLAN TO PEMIT AN MCT FROM TIIE REAR OF THE PRO-
PERTY.
WHEREAS, the Gm mot Council of the City of Riclxnd, Indiana has enacted
Special Use Ordinance No. 2508-1970 which authorized a medical
office building in an R-3 One -to -Eight Family Residence District
located at 2519 East Maui Street, and more particularly described
as follows:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Thirty -Four (34),
Township Fourteen (14), mange One (1) West in Wayne County,
Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an established iron pin at the foot of a cedar
tree which iron pin is sixty-four and 85 one-hmdredths
(64.85) rods east, and Seventeen and twenty-five one-hLrW=dths
(17.25) rods north of the southwest corner of said quarter
section; thence north four and one-half (4-1/2) degrees cast,
three hundred fifty-four (354) feet to the center line of
National Road; thence south eighty-five (85) degrees west
along said center line, one hundred seventy-eight (178) feet;
trice south five and one-half (5-1/2) degrees west; forty
(40) feet to an iron pin in the south line of the National.
Road, thence continuing -south five and one-half (5-1/2) de-
grees west. Mm hundred ninety and six -tenths (290.6) feet
to an iron pipe; thence south eighty-eight and'one-half
88-1/2) degrees east, one hundred eighty-one (181) feet
more or less to the place of beginning and containing an
area of one and four -tenths (1.4) acres more or less; except
twelve (12) feet off the entire east side thereof.
Tr>liQiEl�S, the Special Use traffic circulation plan approved through Ordinance
No. 2508-1970 provided for an entrance and exit from Fast Main
Street only; and,
NBEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan
Com7ii.ssion the day of , 1980, at which
time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or
affected by this Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was to
in favor of/in opposition to recoumendang the passage of ardlxiawce
No. 6-1980,
NOw mmmRE BE IT ORDA= by the Can Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2508-1970 is hereby amended to provide a
traffic circulation plan for the subject Special Use that permits
an exit from the rear of the Special Use property.
SECTION 2, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required.
