AN ORDINANCE AMTMING a -AFTER 22 OF THE, MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING ORDINANCE
NO, 2325-1968, CMMNLY IMMN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
RICHMND, INfl7ANA ADOPTED NNE 3, 1968, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY LocATED ON BOsTON PIKE FROM R-2 ONE-FAtdILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT
TO C-4 GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WE RZAS, the Zoning Map �ddch is part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 desig-
nates and describes as R-2 One -Family Residence District, the
property located on Bnstan Pike in the City of Ri..cYanand, Indiana,
and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classi-
fication of property located on Boston Pike from R-2 One -Family
Residence District to C-4 feral Business District; and,
WMT-AS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City
Plan Commission the day of 1980,
at which time remonstrances were hear rom all parties interested
in or affected by this Ordinance.

o Ordinance No. 7-1980.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the C mwn Council of the City of Riclunond,
Indiana., as follows:
SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the property described below
be, and the sane is hereby changed to C-4 General Business District,
and that said property be regulated in accordance with the Zonina
Ordinance of the City of Richwnd, Indiana and all amendments
thereto.
Rots Numbered 25 & 26 in the Willie Smith
Subdivision.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required.

Dear Mr. Paust, Ambers of Comnon Council & Mrs, Trimble;
The Richmnd City Plan Connission met Tuesday, February 26, 1980,
to hear the petition of mr, Willi-e Smith requesting rezoning from
the present R-2 Single-F�unily Residence District to C-4 General
Business District.
Mr. Paul Vertesch, Attorney, representing the petitioner requested
the petition be withdrawn.
Therefore, the Plan C mission voted. ten (10) to zero (0) to
recormrnd that Ordi=ce No. 7-1980 be stricken.
