AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the
several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes specified, subject
to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2, WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which
appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations
be reduced in the following amounts.

SECTION 3. This 0rdinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its

The Clerrk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the. City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of February 20 and Tebruary27th
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 3rd day of
March. 1980 by the Common Councfl.to consider additional appropria-
tions as. provided for in Ordinance Na. #13-19aO , within the City of
Richmond, 2ndiana. The proof of publication and posting of nuLices were examined
and fo=J to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills moved the
proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed,
seconded by Councilman Welch and on voice vote the motion was
carried.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF
PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Richmond, Wayne County,
.Indiana, that the proper legal officers -of said Municipal Corporation at
their regular meeting place at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on the 3rd day of
March 19 80 , will consider the following .a itional
appropriations in excess of i.t�Budget for the current year.
General Fund

Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon.
The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State
Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further
hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor's Office of said County,
or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing taxpayers
objecting to any of such additional appropriations may be. heard. Interested
taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing
will be held.
