A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on May 5, 1997 at 4:30
p.m., in the Lower Level Meeting Room. Notice having been delivered to all members of the
Leesburg Town Council priorthereto. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Trsflqc
Study and to consider the performance guarantee for the Evergreen Mill Elementary
School. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Clem.

Discussion was held regarding the Traffic Study presented by the town's consultants. No
action was taken.
MOTION: On motion of, and duly seconded, the following Resolution was proposed and
~dopted:
97-101 - RESOLUTION - AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT AND APPROVING A
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE AND WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION PERMITS
FOR THE EVERGREEN MILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The manager shall execute the contract for public improvements for
the improvements shown on the plans approved by the Director of Engineering and Public
Works for the Evergreen Mill Elementary School.
SECTION II. The extension of water and sewer for the Evergreen Mill Elementary
School is approved in accordance with Sections 15-9 and 19-18 of the Town Code.
SECTION III. The corporate surety bond in a form approved by the town attorney
from the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Group in the amount of $466,674.00 is approved
as security to guarantee installation of the public improvements shown on plans approved by
the Director of Engineering and Public Works for the Evergreen Mill Elementary School.
