HomeMy Public PortalAbout033-1980 - ORDINANCE TO REDUCE WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUNDAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 33-1980 AN ORDINANCE TO REDUCE WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND. WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted by the Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners on the Motor Vehicle Highway Budget December 20, 1979, and; WHEREAS, it was determined at the public hearing that the expenses exceeded the income, and; WHEREAS, the Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners have ordered that the Motor Vehicle highway budget be reduced to agree with the income. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amount. MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND Salaries and Wages, Reg. 1-2-0-1-0-1100 $185,666.00 TOTAL $185,666.00 SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
