AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO, 64-1979 FIXING SALARIES FOR APPOINTED
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF RICIIMOND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINnING JANUARY 1, 1980 .AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1990.
WHEREAS, the Federal rules and regulations, Federal Register, Val. 43, No.
166, Sec 676.261-1 Ca) (4), require wages and/or salaries for employees,
employed under a CETA contract with a municipality, be approved by the Common
Council of the municipality; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, a municipal corporation of the State of Indiana
has entered into a contract with the Indiana Office of Occupational Development;
and
WHEREAS, the contract between the City of Richmond and the Indiana Office of
Occupational Development was executed and became effective October 1, 1979
and will end September 30, 1990.
SECTION 1. NOW, therefore, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, that CETA workers, on the above contract, will be paid
the following annual salaries for the positions.
CETA
1 Administrator 10,458.00
4 Crew Chief(s) 7,447.00 29,788.00
24 Laborer(s) 6,026.00 166,224.00
l Bookkeeper, Part-time 1,680.00
TOTAL $208,I,S0.00
SECTION 2. Be it further ordained that this ahiunded ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage qnd approv 1 by the Common Council
of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this �a day of , 1980.
