A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on May 28, 1997 at 4:30
p.m., in the Lower Level Meeting Room, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, Virginia. Notice
having been delivered to all members of the Council priorthereto. The purposes of the
meeting were to discuss the proposed Comprehensive Town Plan and the Master Plan for
Ida Lee Park. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Clem.

Also in attendance was Chairman of the Economic Development Commission Marc Weiss
and Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission Terry Young
Mr. Mucci provided the staff report regarding the transportation element of the proposed
town plan.
Ms. Umstattd suggested adding emphasis on limited access on the western bypass.
Mr. Dentler provided the report for the Ida Lee Park Master Plan.
On motion of, and duly seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
