HomeMy Public PortalAbout1948-09-13 Meetingmotion of Mr. Bonneau, seconded by Mr. Simons, a resolution numbered 7, was adopted entitled: Resolution No. 7 "A Resolution of the Council of Bal Harbour Village, Florida, adopting a budget for the said village for the period of October 1, 1948 to September 30, 1949 in the total amount of $76,529.40." Discussion followed on the amount of money needed to carry out the 1948-1949 budget, and upon motion of Mr. Graham, seconded by Mr. Bonneau, a resolution numbered 8 was adopted entitled: Resolution No. 8 "A Resolution of the Council of bal Harbour Village, Florida, making a tax levy for the tax year 1948, and fixing the millage on real and personal property in said village at ten (10) mills." A proposed ordinance relating to dogs in the village was tabled for further study by members of the council. There being; no further business, upon motion of Mr. Simons, seconded by Mr. Bonneau, the meeting adjourned. Attest: C '1 ....<1G/UJi.%/ /Clerk I Mayor SEPTEMBER 13, 1948 The Council of Bal Harbour Village met at the Administration Building, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., September 13th, 1948. The following members constituting a quorum were present: Messrs. Southerland, Bonneau, Simons and Whittaker. SEPT_EMBER 13. 1948 Absent: Mr. Graham, Jr. Also present was Mr. W. H. Webb, Town Manager. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting of the council, held July 19, 1948, was dispensed with. The village attorney presented to the council a proposed Ordinance No. 13, providing for the classifying, regulating and/ or prohibiting certain noises in said village, The Ordinance No. 13 was read in full, and after consideration the proposed Ordinance No. 13 was, upon vote, adopted, and entitled as follows: Ordinance No, ) 3. "AN ORDINANCE OF BAL HARBOUR VILLAGE, FLuIC[DA, CLASSIFYING, REGULATING, AND/OR PROHIBITING CERTAIN NOISES IN SAID VILLAGE AND FIXING PEN- ALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF." There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded, and carried the meeting adjourned. Attests Clerk Mayor DECEMBER 3, 1948 The regular meeting of the Hal Harbour Village Council was held at 8:00 o'clock P. M., December 3, 1948 in the Administration Building. Present were: Messrs. Graham, Jr., Simons, and Whittaker. Abesnt: Messrs. Bonneau and Southerland. Also present were Mr. Willard H. Webb, Town Manager, and Mary T. Wetterer, Town Clerk. The minutes of the regular meeting of September 13, 1948 were read and upon motion of Mr. Simons, seconded by Yr. Whittaker, were approved. DECEMBER 3, 1948
