THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 14, 2008
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M.,
Thursday, February 14, 2008 in the Community Room at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th
Street, Richmond, Indiana. In attendance were Board Members Vicki Robinson, Dian Lawson
and Mary Jo Flood. Also attending were City Attorney Walt Chidester and Police Chief Kris
Wolski.
The following business was conducted:
CALL TO ORDER:
Robinson called the meeting to order and noted for the minutes that all board members and
legal counsel were present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Board member Flood moved to approve the minutes of the February 7, 2008 meeting as
presented, with a second by Board member Lawson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion
passed.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT:
Board President Robinson presented Claims for Payment in the amount of $506,041.38.
Included was:
Richmond Power and Light - $82,624.46
Corporate Health of Ohio - $22,820.00
(Annual Physicals for Fire Dept.)
Indiana Department of Transportation - $10,000.00
(Preliminary engineering for railroad crossing on Salisbury Road)
Board member Lawson moved to approve the Claims as presented, with a second by Board
member Flood. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
REQUESTS:
A. TEMPORARY NO PARKING SIGNS — First block of South 10th Street, 2/22. 8 AM —
3 PM: Board member Flood moved to approve this request, with a second by Board
member Lawson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
PETITIONS:
A. CURB CUT - 2610 Westminster Avenue: Board member Lawson moved to approve
this request, with a second by Board member Flood. Upon a vote viva voce, the
motion passed.

There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously.
