A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on Thursday, November 5,
1998, at 6:30 p.m. in the First Floor Executive Conference Room, 25 West Market Street,
Leesburg, Virginia 20175, Municipal Government Center. Notice having been delivered to all
members of the Leesburg Town Council prior thereto. The purpose of the meeting was to meet
with the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission. The meeting was called to order
by ~Mayor James E. Clem.

A joint meeting was held with the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.
Discussion was held on the Loudoun Valley High School fee waiver request in which Council
directed Kaj to draft a letter for signature by the Mayor and the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Commission Chairman to respectfully deny the request. Discussion was also held on land
acquisition, Catoctin SkatePark, Brandon Park Master Plan, bond issue for capital projects, and
the Ida Lee Park Master Plan.
On motion of, and duly seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
