WHEREAS, in an effort to continue the revitalization of the Borough of
Carteret thr~ agressive Ho~sing R~habilitation Programs, the C~nm~nity
DeveloFmemt Dep~rtment has negotiated with Fm.~t ~m~ll to provide funds
through a Regional Contribution Agreement in an ~t not less than
$100,000.00; and
~, all rehabilitation funds received t~h this Regional Contribution
Agreement wo~ld be dedicated to owner occupied single and two fnmi ly
h~nes who are in the Iow and moderate imc~me categories according to
guidelines provided by the Co~cil on Affordable Ho~sieg; and
WHerEAS, funding thr~ this Regional Contribution Agreement wo~ld not be
available until Fm~t ~m~ell has received substantive certification through
the Cotmcil on Affordable Ho~sing;
NOW, TdMe~0RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the Borough of Carten
that the Regional Contritmtion Agreement between
approved;
BE IT FURI~ER RESOL~ that the Mayor of the Borough of Cmrteret is hereby
authorized to sign this agreement and any other related doc~nents required by
the Ho~simg and Mortgmge Fimance Agency and the Cot~cil on Affordnhle
as they relate to this Regional Contribetion Agreement.
