RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EQUIPMENT REPAIR
WHEREAS, the aeriM devise owned by the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough")
is in need of repair; and
WHE~AS, such service is an equipment rep~r in the nature of an extraordina~
unspecifiable service; and
W~AS, there is presently on file in the office of the Borough's Chief Financial
Officer, a proposal submitted by Baker Equipment Engineering Company of
Pottstown, Pennsylva~a, which provides for the performance of such equipment
repair services.
NOW, THE~FO~, BE IT ~SOL~D by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of C~eret as follows:
1. Subject to a certification of~nds by the Borough's Chief Financial
Officer, a contract be and is hereby awarded to Baker Equipment
Engineering Company ofPottstown, Pennsylva~a, in an amount
not to exceed $16,800.00 for the pu~ose of performing certain
equipment repair services to the Borough's aerial device.
2. That the award, which is authorized hereby, has been made without
cqmpetitive bidding as an"e~raordina~ unspecifiable service" under
the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law.
3. That a copy of this resolution, certified to be a true copy by the
Borough Clerk, shall be published as required by law within ten
(10) days from the date of adoption
4. That the Borough Clerk is hereby authorized to forward a true
copy of tbs Resolution to Baker Equipment Engineering Company
of Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Adopted this 20th day of March, 1997
and certified as a true copy of the original
on March 21, 1997.

and the Borough of Carteret, a municipal corporation, having its
principal office at the Borough Hall , 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret,
New Jersey, 07008, hereinafter, the "BOROUGH".
As per Resolution No. 97-113.
