RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING RECOMMENDATIONS
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY AND GRANTING THE ZONE VARIANCE
OF ALEX BENNETT BUSINESS FINANCE & FACTOR-
ING, INC. TO CONSTRUCT ON LOT 132, TRACT
6561 AN 80 -FOOT BUILDING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Temple City at its regular meeting in the City Hall, 9664
East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, California, on October
3, 1960, held a duly constituted public hearing in regard
to a zone variance request of Alex Bennett Business Finance
& Factoring, Inc. to construct an 80 - -foot building on Lot
132, Tract 6561, and
WHEREAS, no appeal has been filed from the deci-
sion of the Planning Commission, but the appeal period
has not yet elapsed,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Temple City does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. There are exceptional and extraordi-
nary circumstances applicable to the property of the ap-
plicant that do not apply generally to the property or
class of use in the same vicinity.
SECTION 2. That the granting of the variance of
the applicant is not detrimental to the public health,
general welfare and convenience of the community and will
not be injurious to the property in the same vicinity.
SECTION 3. That the variance of Alex Bennett
Business Finance & Factoring, Inc., as requested is granted
and Alex Bennett Business Finance & Factoring, Inc., or
its assignee, is hereby granted a variance to construct an
80 -foot building on Lot 132, Tract 6561.
SECTION 4. This variance shall not take effect
until October 24, 1960, and then only in the event an ap-
peal has not been filed from the recommendation of the
Planning Commission.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1960.
