A special meeting of the Leesburg Town Council was held on Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at 6:45 p.m.,
in the second floor Councilmember's meeting room. Notice having been delivered to all members of the
Leesburg Town Council prior thereto. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the high school parking
issue.

Mr. York provided the staff report, summarizing the comments made by citizens at the May 25, 1999,
public hearing. Contained in the staff report were copies of permit parking regulations from other area
jurisdictions. These regulations were considered by the Council. The Council asked staff to prepare the
permit parking regulations from the Town of Blacksburg for consideration at the June 15, 1999,
Administration and Public Works Committee meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
