ORDINANCE NO. 93
AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING WHEN THE REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE ARE TO BE HELD AND PRESCRIBING
THE PLACE THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 84.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council shall have two regular meetings each
month which shall be held on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Tuesday of
each month at the hour of seven o'clock (7:00) p.m. and shall convene at
4343 North Woodlawn, Bel Aire, Kansas commencing on the first (1st)
Tuesday of March, 1985, provided that when any day fixed for a regular
meeting shall fall on any legal holiday, or a day observed as a holiday
in the City, or on an Election Day, the regular meeting shall convene on
the next secular or business day thereafter that is not observed as a
legal holiday or as ordered by the Council at the previous meeting,
regular or special.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 84 of the City of Bel Aire is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official City newspaper.
