PLAINFIELD BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS MINUTES
JANUARY 17, 2019
Commissioner Michael Nott called the January 17, 2019 meeting of the Board of Police
Commissioners to order at 6:04 p.m. In attendance were Commissioner Nott, Commissioner
Chapman, Commander Novak, and Cindie Blazina.
Public Forum: Citizen's Comments- None.
The minutes of the November 15, 2018 meeting were read, and Commissioner Nott moved
the minutes to be approved, Commissioner Chapman seconded the motion. All in favor.
Correspondence- An invoice from Conrad Polygraph in the amount of $160.00 was
presented and approved by the Commissioners. This invoice was for the Polygraph testing for
three candidates on the 2017 Eligibility Register.
Old Business- The Commission will be getting ready to outline the promotional testing for
the 2019 Sergeants Exam. Discussion is curbed until the March 21st, 2019 meeting when all parties
are available for continued discussion and planning.
New Business- The Commission will be holding a second round of Oral Interviews for the
remaining candidates on the current 2017 Primary Eligibility Register for the position of Entry
Level Police Officer on Saturday, January 19°1, 2019. A secondary plan was put in place in the
event of inclement weather.
Executive Session- No executive session was held.
There being no further business or discussion, Commissioner Nott moved the meeting be
adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
