AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE TO T11E GENERAL FUND FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND (CIGARETTE TAX).
WHEREkS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CONHON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated to the General Fund and ordered
set apart out of the Lumulative Capital Improvement Fund (Cigarette Tax),
subject to the laws governing the same:
SECTION 2. That this appropriation is provided for under IC 6-7-1-31.1(b).

SECTION 3. h IEREAS, it has been shown that the Cumulative Capital Improvement
Fund (Cigarette Tax) now has unobligated balance which will not be needed it
is further ordained that the following existing Fund be reduced in the
following amount:

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to -the laws of the State of
Indiana governing emergency appropriations.

Council Chambers in the Municipal RuiIding of said. City January 15, 1979 ,

Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of January 5, 1979 and January 12, 1979
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 15th day of

and found to be correct and in order. Councilmani Mills moved ,the
proof. of publication and posting. of notices be received and erdered filed,
seconded by Councilman Ahaus and on voice vote the motion was
carried.

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at
their regular meeting"place at 7:30 o`c'ock P.M., on 15th day of
Januar , 19 79 , will consider .the following a iT onal

FEDERAL REVENUE SNARING TRUST FUND
Fire Protection - Water Line Charge

Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon.
The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State
Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further
hearing within fifteen days 4t the County Auditor's Office of said County,
or at such other place as.may be designated. At such hearing taxpayers
objecting to any of such additional appropriations may he heard. Interested
taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing
will be held.
