W UMEAS., the Zoning Map which is part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 desig-
nates and describes as R-1 One -Family Residence District the
following described property known as Richland Extension in
the City of Rictniond, Indiana, more particularly described as

VOTAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classi-
fication on the above described area from R-1 One -Family Residence
District to R-2 One -Family Maxict; and,
WHEFTAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Ridino- d City Plan
Cession the day of 1979, at which
time remonstrances were heard from al parties interested in or
affected by this Ordinance.
ADITAS, the vote of the Riclmmnd City Plan Commission was to
in favor of/in opposition to recommending the passage of Ordinance
No. 4-1979.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Cannon Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION L. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the
above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to
R-2 One-Family.Residence District, and that said property be regu-
lated in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of R.ich-
mund, Tndiana, all amenclments thereto.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required.

The. RicEanond City Plan. Com rLssion met 'Tuesday, January 23, 1979,
to hear the petition of Del Layne Inc, requesttto abandon the
Rasidential Planned Unit ]development known as Richland Extension
and rezone from R 1 to R-2.
Word had been received from the petitioner that they wished this
petition, be withdrawn.
There Fore, the Plan, ODmi.asion voted ten (10) to zero (0) to
recamend that Ordinance No, 4-1979 be stricken.
