This adjourned meeting was to consider the suggestions of
Mr. James Fickes, of Fickes & Fickes - Architects for the modification

Fickes could not be present it was decided to adjourn this meeting
to Tuesday, April 16, 1963, at the City Hall, at 7:00 P. M. at which
time Ickes will present and discuss with the Council the above
project.
At this time the question of designation of a new Mayor
and Mayor Pro Tem was discussed. The ballot following gave three
votes which constituted a majority to A. L. Nunamaker for Mayor for
the year April, 19o3, to April, 1964, thus electing Mr. Nunamaker as
Mayor of the City of Temple City. Following this a ballot was taken
for Mayor Pro Tem with Howard M. Dickason being elected for the same
term as the Mayor by a vote of 2, one abstaining and one each for two
other Councilmen. Thus Howard M. Dickason was elected Mayor Pro Tem
of Temple City.
