WI1EREAS, Section 8 ol'lhe Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231 ILL 1975.
pel mits the exclusion of the public flora a meeling in cellain circumstances; and
WI1EREAS, this public body is of the opinion thai such circumstances p~esently
exisls;
NOW, TI1EREFORE, BE IT IIESOI,VED by the Mayor and Cotmcil of the
Borough ofCarteret, Cotmty of Middlesex, Slate of New Jersey, as lbllows:
I. The public shall be excluded fi'om attending, discussing or parlicipating in the
hereinafter specified subject matters.
2. The general nature of the subject mailer to be discussed is as follows:
litigation.
3. It is a.ticipated at Ihis lime that Ihe above stated subject matter will be made
public:
upon conclusion of matters.
4. This resolution shall take effect immedialely.
