AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2008 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2008 on September 27th, 2007 with Ordinance 45-2007; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2008 budget be amended as follows:
A. Park Capital Improvement
Delete $55,783.00 from Capital Outlay — Park Improvements
Account number 262.19.024.606.000.4116
Add $47,283.00 to Computer Equipment and Software
Account number 262.19.024.606.000.4435
Add $8,500.00 to Capital Improvements — Golf Clubhouses
Account number 262.19.024.606.000.4113
Passed and adopted this _3rd day of March 2008, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
