AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE,
AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
INDIANA ARTS COMMISSION & ARTS PLACE
WHEREAS, The Indiana Arts Commission & Arts Place has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department desires to submit a grant
application to obtain funds that will be used for operating costs associated with the
Richmond Parks and Recreation Department's Summer Concert Series; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant
application to the Indiana Arts Commission & Arts Place.
2. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is authorized to accept said grant
funding in an amount up to Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department, shall be
appropriated to fund operating costs associated with the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department's
Summer Concert Series.

Richmond, Indiana.
