• AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE
HUTCHESON AND SHINN PROPERTIES
CONSISTING OF 2.14 AND 0.35 ACRES, RESPECTIVELY
WHEREAS Frank Hutcheson & Sharon K. Hutcheson and Loran K. Shinn & Alicia E.
Shinn are the owners, hereinafter referred to as Hutcheson and Shinn, of a 2.14 acre and 0.35
acre parcels, respectively, located on the west side of Greenwood Drive, Greencastle, Indiana,
Putnam County, Indiana, in the Southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4
West in Greencastle Township; and
WHEREAS Hutcheson and Shinn petition for rezoning of such parcels before the
Greencastle Plan Commission from RI to Cl; and
WHEREAS such property is within die city limits of the City of Greencastle; and,
WHEREAS the Greencastle Plan Commission has recommended the rezoning of said
parcels from RI to Cl; and
WHEREAS Hutcheson has made Offers of Dedication to the City of Greencastle for a
• 60' road right -of -way connecting First Street and Fawn View Lane.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the city of Greencastle
that the following described tracts in Putnam County, Indiana be rezoned from RI to Cl:
Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam and being a part of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter and a part of the Southeast quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West of the
Second Principal Meridian, more particularly described to -wit:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West; thence South 89
degrees 48 minutes East 133.81 feet with the South line of said Southwest quarter
quarter; thence North 174.5 feet with the West right -of -way of Greenwood Drive
to the City of Greencastle zoning line dividing R -1 and C -1 as it existed July 30,
1993 and the true point of beginning of the real estate herein described; thence
with said zoning line West 176.1 feet; thence South 70 degrees West 227.7 feet
to the West line of real estate now owned by Frank Hutcheson et ux; thence
North 366.6 feet to the Northwest corner of real estate now owned by Frank
Hutcheson et ux; thence East 190.0 feet with the North line of said Hutcheson
tract; thence South 138.62 feet to the Westerly extension of the South right -of-
way of Meadow Lane; thence East 200.00 feet with said Westerly extension to
• the West right -of -way of Greenwood Drive; thence South 150.08 feet with the

West line of Greenwood Drive to the point of beginning, containing 2.14 acres,
more or less.
Subject to all rights -of -way and pertinent easements of record.
ALSO
Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam and being a part of the
Southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West of the
Second Principal Meridian, more particularly described to -wit:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West; thence South 89
degrees 48 minutes East 133.81 feet with the South line of said Southwest quarter
quarter; thence North 374.58 feet with the West right -of -way of Greenwood
Drive; thence West 200.00 feet; thence North 88.62 feet to the South line of real
estate now owned by Loran K. Shinn et ux and the true point of beginning of real
estate herein described; thence West 190.00 feet with said South line to the
Southwest corner of said Shinn real estate; thence North 81.38 feet to the
Northwest corner of said Shinn real estate; thence East 190.00 feet with the North
line of said Shinn real estate; thence South 81.38 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 0.35 of an acre, more or less.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage by the Greencastle Common
Council and is approval by the Mayor.
this PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana
