Town of Leesburg Government Offices Will Be Closed
on Monday, February 8, 2010
Council Work Session Cancelled
Leesburg, VA (February 7, 2010) – Town of Leesburg government offices will be
closed on Monday, February 8, 2010. The Council Work Session scheduled for
Monday evening has been cancelled. All Work Session agenda items will be moved to
the agenda for the Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
Regarding other Town of Leesburg facilities:
• The Leesburg Public Safety Center will remain open.
• Ida Lee Park Recreation Center will be open regular hours on Monday, February
8, 2010. Classes scheduled to begin before 12 noon are cancelled.
• Thomas Balch Library will be closed on Monday, February 8, 2010.
• Leesburg Executive Airport is closed until further notice.
A complete list of Town facility closures and cancellations is posted on the Town of
Leesburg website at www.leesburgva.gov and will be updated as necessary.
