A Special meeting of the Fraser Town Council was held Sept.
23, 1975 to meet with Mr. Fred Metzler of the Department of
Housing and Urban Development.
Council members present were: Clifford Clayton and James Winter.
Alta Gesellman, clerk, Richard Doucette, attorney, Keith Bell
and Allen Jost of Ray Associates Inc.
Mr. Metzler stated the Town has received the HUD Galant in
the amount of *200,000.00 for the reconstruction of the water
system. He also explained some of the rules and regulations
in the use of these funds. Mr. Jost and board members explained
that construction can not begin until nextspring and early summer.
It is hoped that all engineering work can be done yet this fall
so that design can be worked this winter and bids for construction
be ready for March. 1976.
The contract between Ray Associates Inc. and the town of Fraser
was presented as ammended but a ifsemoverof council members was
not present so no action was taken.
Meeting adjourned at 10;00 p.m.
