RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF
PLANNING COMMISSION THAT THE SAN GABRIEL
VALLEY LUMBER COMPANY BE GRANTED A SPECIAL
USE PERMIT TO ERECT A RADIO TRANSMISSION
POLE.
WHEREAS, on January 16, 1961, at 7 :30 p. m. the Planning
Commission of the City of Temple City held a regular meeting
in the City Hall, 9664 East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, Cali-
fornia. At said regular meeting, pursuant to notice duly given
by law, a public hearing was held before the Planning Commis-
sion at the hour of 7 :30 p. m. on the application of the San
Gabriel Valley Lumber Company, hereinafter referred to as appli-
cant, for a special use permit, requesting permission to erect
a treated pole approximately 18 foot in ground set in cement
approximately 60 foot out of ground to be used for radio trans-
mission, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of. Temple
City, by its Resolution No. 61- that the City Council grant
the requested special use permit subject to the following con-
ditions:
(a) That the radio transmission pole be located as
shown on the plot plan submitted by the applicant.
(b) The portion of property where said pole is
located be enclosed and maintained in order to prohibit access
by unauthorized persons and children.
(c) The special use permit not be effective for any
purpose until the owners of the property involved have filed •
with the City Clerk of the City of Temple City their affidavit
stating that they are aware of and accept all of the conditions
of the permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple
City does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City
hereby approves the recommendations of the Planning Commission
made in Planning Commission Resolution No. 61-
SECTION 2. The San Gabriel Valley Lumber Company is
hereby granted a special use permit to erect a treated pole
approximatelu 18 feet in ground set in cement approximately 60
feet out of ground to be used for radio transmission, subject
to the following conditions:
(a) The radio transmission pole be located as
shown on the plot plan on file with the application of the S:In
Gabriel Valley Lumber Company.
(b) That the portion of property where said pole
is located be enclosed and maintained in order to prohibit
access by unauthorized persons and children.

(c) That this special use permit shall not be effec-
tive for any purpose until the owners of the property involved
have filed with the City Clerk of the City of Temple City their
affidavit stating that they are aware of and accept all of the
conditions of this permit.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 1961.
