HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 61-119RESOLUTION NO. 61 -119 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING TRUCK ROUTES PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 61 -33 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on February 27th. 1961, the City Council of the City of Temple City adopted Ordinance No. 61- by which Section 3305 was added to the Temple City Municipal Code author- izing the City Council to establish truck routes by resolution, and WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore weighed the establishment of truck routes and duly published notice of the proposal to create three traffic routes as hereinafter de- scribed, NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Temple City, California, does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The following truck routes are hereby es- tablished pursuant to Ordinance No.61 -33 . (a) Las Tunas Drive between the westerly City limits and the easterly City limits. (b) El Monte Avenue between Las Tunas Drive and Lower Azusa Road. (c) Lower Azusa Road between the westerly City limits and the easterly City limits. SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby instructed to forthwith designate the above designated streets by appropriate signs as "Truck Routes" or by signs indicating approval for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of three tons. PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting this 27th day ofFebruary, 1961.
