RESOLUTION APPROVING INCREASE IN PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES CONTRACT
WHEREAS, on January 18, 1996 by Resolution #96-25 the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret approved a contract to AJV Engineering in the amount of
$150,000.00 for professional services in connection with the Waterfront Project; and
WItEREAS, the said additional services are required to obtain a Waterfront
Development Permit; and
WItEREAS, the said additional services were unforeseen at the time the original
contract was awarded.
NOW, TltEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $8,000.00 is hereby
added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount, upon receipt of
billing statements approved by the Council, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this action shall be published in The
Home News & Tribune on April 22, 1997.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 18, 1997.
