RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF REQUESTING QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CITY
ADMINISTRATOR
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, has budgeted for a Part Time City
Administrator up to 10 hours a week for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2017; and
WHEREAS,the City Council would like to start taking applications and resumes for this
position;
WHEREAS,the City Council would like references checked and the candidate selection
narrowed to two or three candidates to be interviewed by the City Council during a Council
meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIVERDALE, IOWA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to publish a request for
qualified applications and resumes and begin the selection process.
