WHEREAS, the Riverdale City Council desires to appoint a new City Attorney;
WHEREAS, on January 11, 2017, the City Council by Motion appointed Michael Walker and
the firm of Hopkins & Huebner, P.C. as City Attorneys;
WHEREAS, the City Council has agreed to pay $200.00 an hour for legal services for Michael
Walker and the firm of Hopkins & Huebner, P.C.;
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Ordinance 20.01 City Attorneys and compensation are approved
by resolution of the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa
appoints Michael Walker and the law firm of Hopkins & Huebner, P.C. as City Attorneys at a
rate of$200.00 an hour for legal services.
This Resolution shall take immediate effect.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 21st day of February, 2017.
