RESOLUTION CORRECTING LEDGER ERROR CONCERNING
ROAD USE REVENUE 001-210-6490 AND
MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSE- STREETS 110-210-4430
WHEREAS, on February 2, 2016, $21,215.00 was placed in account 110-210-4430 Road Use
Revenue, which should have been put in account 001-210-6490 Miscellaneous Expense - Streets;
WHEREAS, the recent audit by the State of Iowa found the ledger error;
WHEREAS, the ledger error can be corrected by moving $21,215.00 from the Road Use
Revenue account to the Miscellaneous Expense - Streets account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa
authorizes the correcting of the ledger error by moving $21, 215.00 from the Road Use Revenue
account 110-210-4430 to the Miscellaneous Expense - Streets account 001-210-6490.
This Resolution shall take immediate effect.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 21st day of February, 2017.
