There being no further business on motion duly made, seconded , and carried, the meeting was adjourned. Attest: C1 A MARCH 7, 1949 The regular meeting of the council of Bal Harbour Village was hold at 8:00 P. M., March 7, 1949, in the Administration Building. Present: Messrs. Bonneau, Southerland and Whit Laker Absent: Messrs. graham, Jr. and Simons. Also present were Mr. W. H. Webb, Town Manager and Mary T. Wetterer, Town Clerk. The reading; of the minutes of the previous meeting of February 7, 1949 was dispensed with. Mr. Webb reported on the cost to the Village of carrying Workmen's Compensation Insurance to cover Village employees. It was the consensus of opinion of the members of the council present that it would be inadviseable for the Village to become a self insurer in view of the cost as indicated by the figures prAsented by Mr. Webb as to the experience of the City of Miami Beach. There- upon motion of Mr. Bonneau, seconded by Mr. Whittaker, it was voted that the Town Manager continue to carry Workmen's Compensation Insurance with a recognized insurance company as heretofore has been done. MARCH 7. 1949 4 2 Mr. Southerl.and presented to the council a proposed ordinance No. 16 amending the Police Ordinance No. 2. Upon motion of Mr. Whittaker, seconded by Mr. tonneau, it was unanimously voted that the proposed Ordinance No. 16 be enacted, entitled as follows: ordinance No. 16. "AN ORDINANCE OE' HAL HARBOUR VILLAGE, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION B OF ORDINANCE NO. 2 ENTITLED: 'AN O.LINANCE OF BAL HARBOUR 'vILLAGE, FLORILA LEFINiNG OFFENSES, FIXING PUNISHMENTS ANL WINES, AND Rw•uULATING TO ZVI$ENCE, SEARCHES AND SEIZURES, TRAFv'IC REGULATIUNS'." There being no further business before the meeting on motion duly made, seconded, and carried the meeting adjourned. Attest: Clerk 9 Mayor APRIL 112 1949 The regular meeting of the council of Bal Harbour Village was held Monday evening, April 11, 19499 at B o'clock in the Administratian Building. Present were: Messrs. tonneau, Graham, Jr., Simone, Southerland, and Whittaker, Also present were Mr. W. H. Webb, Town Manager, and Mary T. Wetterer, Town Clerk. The minutes of the meeting of March 7, 1949 were read and approved. The financial reports for village operation for the first six months were considered and discussed by the council and upon motion of Mr. Graham, seconded by Mr. Simons, the reports were approved.
