SEWER FEE CANCELLATION AND ~EFUND
WHEREAS, Block 373, Lot 4, Sewer Account #1-1267257, for
property located at 1295 Roosevelt Avenue was billed sewer
fees as a commercial building with three units since 1991,
and
WHEREAS, upon review of Borough inspectors, the property
should ha~e been classified as a commercial building with two
units since 1991, and
WHEREAS, the Tjx Collector has calculated the amount of the
overpayment to be $3,535.47.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, that'%he Tax
Collector cancel the erroneously assessed sewer {ees in the
~n~ of $3,535.47 and refund that amount to the taxpayer
~ccordingly.
Adopted the 1st day of May, 1997 and
certified as a true copy of the
original on MAY 2nd, 1997.
