HomeMy Public PortalAbout15478 Reynosa – Melitta Streambank Stabilization (11630)ORDINANCE NO. 15478 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for channel stabilization in Reynosa – Melitta Streambank Stabilization (11630) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21927 with DJM Ecological Services for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Seven Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Eight and 05/100 Dollars ($784,248.05) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-One and 95/100 Dollars ($115,751.95); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for channel stabilization in Reynosa – Melitta Streambank Stabilization (11630) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21927 with DJM Ecological Services, as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Reynosa – Melitta Streambank Stabilization (11630) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of July, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on September 10, 2020.
