AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WMIN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money
than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED EY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA-
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the
several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject
to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobliga-ted balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated,
it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be -reduced in the
following amounts.

SECTION' 3, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
pas -gage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.

COMCIL OF THR Ci7'Y OF'RICHMOND, INDIAATA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, -met in regular session in the
Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said. City Nay 7, 1979 ,
at the hour of 7:30 p.m.
Councilman Faust presided with the following mezibers present:
Messrs. Ahaus Austerman Carter
Elstro' -mills
Whitesell Williams
Absent- None
The following business was had to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of aneral circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Aprl 18th and April 25th
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of
_ Mai,, 1979 by the Common Council to consider additional appropria-
tions as provided for in Ordinance No. 39-1979 , within the City of
Richmond, indi.:uia. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined
and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills moved the
proof.of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, .
seconded by Councilman Welch and on voice vote the motion was
carried.
