RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
ABBOTT CONTRACTING COMPANY
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1996, by Resolution #96-116, the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret approved a contract to Abbott Contracting Company, Inc.
in the amount of $573,447.66; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed the Governing Body that a
modification of the contract, specifically the addition of an electrical control box for
field lighting, is reasonable and necessary; and
WltEREAS, the Borough Engineer has further certified that said modifications were
unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $6,000.00 is hereby
added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby
approved.
Adopted this 1st day of May, 1997 and
certified as a true copy of the original
on May 2nd, 1997.
