Home My Public Portal About047-1979 - ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FOR THE HERITAGE CONSERVATION AND RECREATION SERVICE GRANTAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 47-1979 AN ORDINANCE, TO APPROPRIATE FOR HERITAGE CONSERVATION AND RECREATION SERVICE GRANT. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the various functions of the City Covernment than was appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, TNDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1979 the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to the law governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during the year expressly stipulated by law. SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated for Heritage Conservation and Recreation Service Grant the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exist: AMOUNT AMOUNT RC�UESTED APPROPRIATED HERITAGE CONSERVATION AND RECREATION SERVICE GRANT $84,094 $84,094 TOTAL $84,094 $84,094, 'these funds are to be appropriated for the following: Glen Miller Park Lake Project Number 16-00356; includes dredging, landscaping, construction of boat docks, picnic shelter and xestrooms. SECTION 3, This Ordinance 'shall be in full farce and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
