6:00 PM CALL TO ORDER
1.EXECUTIVE SESSION (ROOM 211)
i. The Board will consider approving executive session minutes:
3/15/16, 04/04/16, 04/05/16, 04/26/16, 05/02/16ATM, 05/17/16
ii. CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, LITIGATION AND REAL PROPERTY
1.To discuss strategies with respect to collective bargaining updates by the
Town Manager relative to Fire and Dispatch,because an open meeting may
have detrimental effects on the bargaining positions of the Board;
2.To discuss strategy with respect to litigation relative to 78 West Main Street,
because an open meeting may have detrimental effects on the litigating
positions of the Board.
3.To discuss strategy relative to contract negotiations with nonunion staff,
Town Manager.
4.To discuss contract negotiations with the Hopkinton Police Dispatchers
Association because an open meeting may have detrimental effects on the
bargaining positions of the Board.

STAFF RECOGNITION
1. Police Chief Edward Lee will present to the Board several officers that were
recognized on June 9th by the Municipal Police Training Council and Governor
Baker at the 4th Annual Lifesaving Award Ceremony, held at Bentley University.
Sergeant Aaron O’Neil, Officer Peter Booth, Detective William Burchard, Officer
Arthur Schofield and Officer John Moran were honored for their actions as First
Responders that resulted in the saving of a life. Each officer was awarded a citation

as well as a lifesaving pin.
2. Fire Chief Stephen Slaman will recognize the promotion of Firefighter William Kraus
to Lieutenant.

7:10 PM FIRE LADDER TRUCK PURCHASE (ACTION)
4.The Board of Selectmen will consider affirming the purchase of a ladder truck for the
Hopkinton Fire Department.
7:15 PM PUBLIC HEARING: LUMBER STREET GRANT OF LOCATION FOR UNDERGROUND
5. ELECTRIC SERVICE (ACTION)
The Board of Selectmen will consider granting permission to Eversource Energy
Company to construct conduit under Lumber Street for the purpose of providing
electric service.

7.The Board of Selectmen will consider the following appointments:
1.Upper Charles Trail Committee: 1) Kelly Karp as the Parks & Recreation
Commission designee (term expiring 6/30/18; 2) Abutter or Resident in the
vicinity of the Trail (vacant position, term expiring 6/30/18).

12 General OnPremises All Alcohol Liquor License.
