AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FROM THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND.
WHEREAS, the State and Local. Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972, Title I of
Public Law 95-512 was approved October 20, 1972.
WHEREAS, Section 51.40 of Part 51, Chapter I, Subtitle B, Title B, Title 31 of
the Code of Federal Regulations provides as follows:
A reeipient Government which receives entitlement funds under the Act shall:
(c) Provide for the expenditure ,of entitlement funds in
accordance with the laws and procedures applicable
to the expenditure of its own -revenues;
WHEREAS, persuant to the said State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act, the
proper legal officers of the City of Richmond, Indiana, have established
a trust fund known as the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF 111E C17y OF RICHMOND,
WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1, That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the
following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and Ordered set
apart out of the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund -for certain ordinary
and necessary maintenance and operating expenditures, said sum being subject
to all laws governing the same.'

These funds are to be appropriated for the following project:
Park Department - Payroll
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall he in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws
of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Xay 23rd and. .May 30th
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on tttth day of
_ June, 1979 � by the Common Council: to consider additional appropria-
tions as provided for in Ordinance No. 51-1979 . within the. City of
Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined
and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills moved the
proo#.'of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed,
seconded by Councilman Carter and on voice vote the motion was
carried.
