OCT. 3, 1990
The regular meeting of the Town Board was called to order by
Mayor Jensen 8 :00 p.m. Board present were Klancke, Buchheister,
Muhlbauer, Finlay, and Schauner. Also present was Brown and
Winter.
Representatives from NWCOG Sandy Blaha and Lane Wyatt. Sandy
gave a presentation of the programs that COG is mostly doing at
present and reviewed new adopted dues structure.
Dues for 91' for Fraser are $577 general dues and $430 for QQ.
General programs are:
Senior Services
Weatherization for low income housing
Loan Programs
Water issues
Legislative monitoring
91'- assistance with community planning and
development.
Wyatt review water issues presently at issue. Klancke asked for
their stand in the stream flow being proposed for the Fraser
River. Wyatt stated that COG had not taken a stand but were
available to represent the Town in whatever capacity we wanted,
but would first be so directed by the Town.
Paul Lewis attended with discussion on Music Inc. plans as well
as some chamber information.
Bills presented for payment. Muhlbauer moved to pay these bills,
2nd Klancke, carried.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
Manager report.
Trail going good.
2nd access progressing.
Amtrack approved additional expenses.
Clayton plat filed.
Meyers agreement close to final.
Visitors Center has been closed. 10,076 visitors for 89' and
15,131 for 1990. August was a very heavy month.
Reminder of public hearing on sign code set for Oct. 17th,
RESOLUTION 10 -1 -90. Increasing the monthly water user fees to
Facilitate the meter program mandated by the state. Muhlbauer
moved to approve this resolution 2nd Schauner, carried.
No further business, meeting adjourned 11:00 p.m.
