WHFd2F.AS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 de- signates and describes as R-3 One -to -Eight Family Residence District the following described property k=m as 2030 Chester Boulevard in the City of Richmond, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Being part of the South one-half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 14 North, Rare 1 West, in Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Begira g at an iron pipe on the north line of the South one- half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, said pipe being 1628.05 feet north 89 degrees and 10 minutes west of the north- east corner of the South one-half of said Southeast quarter, and running thence from said beginning point, south 45 degrees and 50 minutes west, 23.27 feet to an iron pipe; thence south 0 degrees and 50 minutes west 1312.38 feet to an iron pipe on the south line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20; thence north 89 degrees and 18 minutes west, along said south line, 520.22 feet to an iron pipe; thence north 0 degrees and 50 minutes east; 1330.04 feet to an iron pipe on the north line of the South one-half of said Southeast Quarter; thence south 89 degrees and 10 minutes cast, along said north line, 536.67 feet to the place of beginning, containing an area of 15.880 acres. ALSO: A part of the south half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 14, Range 1 West, bounded as follows, to wit: Beg1=0z g at a point in the east line of said quarter section 29 rods south of the northeast corner of said south half of said section; thence west parallel with the south line of said quarter section 100 rods; thence south parallel with the east line of said quarter section 51 rods, more or less, to the south line of said quarter section; thence east along the south line 100 rods to the southeast earner of said quarter section; thence North 51 rods, more or less to the place of beginning, excepting the following 6 acres, to -wit - Beginning at the southeast corner of said quarter; thence west 30 rods; thence 1Jbrth 32 rods; thence east 30 rods; thence south 32 -rods to the place of beginning, leaving 25 718 acres, more or less, excepting also a part of the southeast quarter of Section 20, Town- ship 14, Range 1 West, bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at the southwest corner of a tract of land belonging to Claude E. Berry 30 rods west from the southeast corner of said quarter sec- tion; thence west 6 rods to the west side of an open ditch; thence norrheastwardly along the west side of said open ditch to a point 375 feet north of the place of beginning; thence south to the place of beginning, containing one-half acre. Containing 3.17 acres, more or less. 41IMMAS, it is the intend and purpose hereof to change the zoni% classifica- tion on the above described area from R-3 One -to -Eight Family Resi- dence District to R-4 Multi -Family Residence District. BE IT ORDAINED by the Cannon Council of the City of Richmoond, Indiana, as follows: SECTION 1. It is hereby ordained that the zoning zlassification of the above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to R-4 Multi-- Feaily Residence District, and that said property be regulated ia accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Ridmnond, Indiana, all amendments thereto. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect f= and after its passage and approval as by law required. Paust, Members of Common Council. -and Mrs. Trimble: The Richmond City Plan Commission held a public hearing on Tues- day, August•28, 1979, on the petition of Friends Fellowship Community, Attorney Ronald C. Cross, Agent, requesting to re- zone property at 2030 Chester Boulevard from R-1 Single Family Residence District and R-3 One -to -Eight Family Residence Dis- trict to R-4 Multi -Family Residence District for the purpose of placing the existing uses in the correct zoning district. Fourteen (14) notices of public hearing were sent to adjoining property owners with none returned in favor of or in opposition to the request. No one spoke in -opposition to the request at the public hearing. The Plan Commission voted eight (8) to zero (0) to recommend the Ordinance be.approved.
