ORDINANCE NO. 70-1979
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF NINE HUNDRED FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
FIFTY-TWO DOLLARS ($904,452) FROM THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSE
OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND OF SAID CITY FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1980 BUDCETING
THE SAME, LIMITING THE USE THEREOF AND FIXING THE, TIME WHEN SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, TDdiana,
that thereby and there is hereby appropriated the sum of $901,452 to the Motor
Vehicle Highway Fund of said City, and that the same shall be set apart and budgeted
for the various items and expenditures as follows:

SECTION 2. That all said expenditures as provided for in section 1, shall be
made and _performed between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1980, inclusive.
SECTION 3.. That said monies as appropriated and budgeted are restricted solely
to and for the use of construction, reconstruction and maintenance of the streets
and alleys of the City of Richmond, Indiana, pursuant to Chapter 278 Acts of 1959
passed by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by the Common Council, the signature of the President affixed and the
approval of the Mayor of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
